Wed Oct 11, 2017 9:20 pm
Hi,

trying to filter by date but not woking for me. I've tried in spanish ( application language) fecha > 01-10-2017, > 10-01-2017, > 2017-10-01 etc nothing is filtered, if i do fecha< "anythig" all is fitered. Tried in english also. date>foo date<bar same results.

I'm i missing something?

Skrooge version 2.9.0

Thank you.

PS. Also tried Skrooge 2.7.0 from debian stretch, same problem.

does anyone have a flatpak, appimage or the like skrooge package that doesn't have the date fitering issue ?

thanks.

Hi,

I am the main developer of Skrooge.
This filter is working as expected, I did the test.
But, I think I understood your issue.

fecha>2017-10-01 will filter all attributes starting by "fecha".
Take care, you have 2 attributes starting by "fecha": "Fecha" and "Fecha of creation".
So, if you set visible the column "Fecha of creation", you should see that this column is matching the criteria.

Regards.

Hi,

Just for your information, I did a small evolution to have in the tooltip of the search field a text explaining how the string entered is understood by Skrooge:
https://cgit.kde.org/skrooge.git/commit ... e0afe57d1b

So, if the string entered is: fecha>2017-10-01
In the tooltip you will have: "Fecha">2017-10-01 or "Fecha of creation">2017-10-01
