I've been using kdevelop quite happily now for over a year but recently I've been having an issue I can't seem to track down. Anytime I compile and have a compiler error, when I click on the error instead of taking me to the file and line where the error occurred. It opens a new file with the name filename(linenumber). I've uninstalled and updated to the latest kdevelop (5.3.1), deleted all sessions, deleted ~/.cache/kdevduchain and deleted and recreated the projects but to no avail.

Thanks!

What compiler are you using? KDevelop parses the file name out of the error message, apparently it does this wrong. But for the C++ compilers I know, the format is filename:linenumber, and then it works properly.

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
