First question is does Kdevelop use C#?
I would like to learn how to use Kdevelop but after reading articles on the Internet I am completely confused.
Is there a tutorial about creating and debugging and running a small GUI program?
Any input would be appreciated.

What a strange question, did you even install and run it at least once?
In the Discover description it clearly states it is an "IDE for C/C++..."

I strongly suggest you have a look at it first, and then check the handbook here: https://userbase.kde.org/KDevelop5/Manual

Currently running Kubuntu 20.04, Plasma 5.18.5, Frameworks 5.68.0, Qt 5.12.8, kernel 5.4.0-42
FWIW: it is always useful to state the exact Plasma version and distribution when asking questions in this forum, makes it easier for us to help ...

This post seems to imply that C# will be supported. I was hopeing that it was supported now, so I asked.

All the information about kdevelop isn't necessarily clear to a beginner.

I cannot find any information or video on how to create a 'gui' program using kdevelop.

Thanks for the url.

That blog post was for KDevelop 3 IIRC, so doesn't apply to version 5. Did you check the handbook? As for making a GUI application: which platform? Maybe Qt Creator is better suited for your needs. Mind you, even with Qt you should be familiar with C++, not C#

Posts from 2004 are not a good source of information about software in 2019 ;)

I think the clang backend which is used to implement the C/C++ support does do something with c#, but it's not really supported in KDevelop. Officially supported languages are C++, C, PHP, and Python.

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
