I'm a recent convert to KDE from XFCE. Using KDE Plasma 5.19.4 (frameworks version 5.72.0) running on namib linux. Currently using the kup/bup backup software to backup /home drive every 1 hour. It's been doing this every hour without issue (I can see it coming alive every hour on the KDE notification panel).

Yesterday, I accidentally deleted the ~/Documents directory, so needed to restore. Restored the whole ~/Documents directory using kup/bup.

After checking through the sub-directories in ~/Documents I saw that some files (and directories) have the modified date of 01/01/1970. So I checked the kup/bup backup and it also showed modified date of 01/01/1970 for these files. See pic:

Luckily, I had done a grsync backup a couple of days ago, so managed to restore these files along with some others without issue. They now show the correct modified date. See:

Has anyone encountered this issue?, or can suggest something to resolve?

BTW, when browsing the kup/bup backups I noticed the folders that show 01/01/1970 have a padlock beside them (see pic below). Was thinking may be it's a permissions issue, but I have ownership for these folders and full read/write/execute permissions.

Update:
Ditched KUP/BUP in favour of Borg/Vorta. Checked timestamps after mounting latest backup and they are fine.
