Greenlit! (and new builds!)

Wed Feb 19, 2014 7:35 pm
http://krita.org/item/217-greenlit :-)

New builds are here:

http://heap.kogmbh.net/downloads/krita_x64_2.7.9.11.msi
http://heap.kogmbh.net/downloads/krita_x86_2.7.9.11.msi
http://heap.kogmbh.net/downloads/krita_ ... 7.9.11.msi

Fixes:

Don't mess up the interface when reloading a document
Saving custom canvas shortcuts works again
Open brush presets as images to make the icon editable
Fix converting the color space of emtpy layers
Support the svg:exclusion blending mode when loading openraster images
Fix enabling the add/remove buttons for the favorite presets manager
Do not pick opacity when picking a color
Add a (hidden) option to invert the middle-click drag zoom
Make canvas-only mode work in Krita Gemini
Make get common colors from an image work on Windows
Make it possible to use multipe sensors with different curves in one brush preset option (like making opacity react to pressure and rotation of the stylus
Fix the outline cursor for the experiment brush
Use a new and nicer icon for the delete layer button
Fix loading of XFG (GIMP) files on Windows
Fix merge with layer below
Do not crash when applying a filter on a mask
Fix random rotation of brushes

This is likely the latest beta build before the 2.8.0 release, though we're still fixing bugs of course!

Congratulations! Now that was FAST!
Last build works perfectly for me - likely I dont do stuff that could trigger some bug.
Now Krita became for me what VLC is in player department - you are making it better, yet it already works perfect :D

And I am very happy to see that under Windows. I remember when I first discovered Krita and liked right away, remember when I installed Linux just to have latest Krita build. Such a long way in such short time. If even I feel little bit like its my child growing up (hey, I supported it all I can and still will!) I can only imagine how you guys feel. Amazing job and such amazing software. Thank you!

This is an awesome programs so far, but I think I found a bug(or my hardware is to old) and I was not quit sure were to post this, so pleas go ahead and move this if it's not where it should be.

Now the problem.

When I enable OpenGL the canvas will not show my strokes tell I click away from it.

My PC
Windows 7 (Home Premium) 64
4GB of RAM
Intel(R) Core i3
Intel(R) HD Graphics

Thanks for the wonderfully program, I finally have a great free alternative to PS.

Could you check whether you've got the latest intel drivers installed? I've tested on my own intel/win 7 and intel/ win 8 system and the only opengl problem I could reproduce was with the full-canvas mode, which needs to have scrollbars visible to work...

Thanks for the replay. Ya, I have the lates drivers, and now the lates Krita and I still have that problem.
Though I forgot to also say that I am running it in Sandboxie(4.08 64bit), I don't think that's it but giving you all the info should help.
Oh and here is a link to the amazon page with more info on my laptop.

And thanks for all the help.

Oh, sandboxie -- no, that's not supported! It's even in the faq -- http://krita.org/faq.
