Well, working on Krita is fun, for sure. If you haven't already built Krita, see https://docs.krita.org/en/untranslatabl ... rom-source and the related pages in the manual. It's not hard, but it takes a bit of attention. Then a next step would be to play with Krita, and either come up with ideas for improvements on your own, and discuss those here or on irc, or look through https://bugs.kde.org and find something to work on.

Translating Krita itself is done through KDE's translation community. You can find the teams at https://l10n.kde.org/. For translating the manual, we're working a different setup there, but that's not done yet.

I was looking how to help translating the manuals, tutorials and other stuffs like that too. I'm very motivated to help, I've been using Krita for years and I know that French ressources are very appreciate by French community. So, keep us up to date, I really would love translating documentation ^^

For translating the manuals, please go to l10n.kde.org and join the French team. Since yesterday, the manual is actually translatable :-)
