can you change all instances of readlink with greadlink in the script?

Thanks

I exchanged the readlink with greadlink in the script. The behaviour of my Nexus 5X is the same. After my 5X did boot into Android 6.0.1 and has shown the screen for the PIN of my SIM card, my console asks for a password. I tried 1234 with no success, but I think something went wrong with the script.

Code: Select all
++ greadlink -f cache/pm-rootfs-latest.tar.gz
+ ./rootstock-touch-install /Users/joerg/PlasmaMobile/pm-flashtool/cache/rootfs/pm-rootfs-20170908-111304.tar.gz cache/bullhead/latest/system.img cache/bullhead/latest/boot.img

Two different things,

1) Script asks for sudo password not for the pin (we run fastboot and adb commands under sudo because otherwise it seems some people have issue with udev rules and all)
2) I've no idea however how you need the password for SIM.. ???

Thanks so much for your assistance. I appreciate the time, you invest in that community. I will evaluate, whether Plasma Mobile could be an appropriate base system for product development.

No I my installation seems to be successful. I resume for macOS users:
These are the last lines of my console output:
Code: Select all
++ greadlink -f cache/pm-rootfs-latest.tar.gz
+ ./rootstock-touch-install /Users/joerg/PlasmaMobile/pm-flashtool/cache/rootfs/pm-rootfs-20170908-111304.tar.gz cache/bullhead/latest/system.img cache/bullhead/latest/boot.img
mount: mounting /dev/block/mmcblk0p40 on /cache failed: Device or resource busy
mount: mounting /dev/block/mmcblk0p45 on /data failed: Device or resource busy
-n transfering rootfs tarball ...
[done]
-n preparing system-image on device ...
[done]
-n unpacking rootfs tarball to system-image ...
[done]
-n adding android system image to installation ...
[done]
-n cleaning up on device ...
[done]
-n rebooting into bootloader mode and flashing boot.img ...
./rootstock-touch-install: line 175: /dev/bull: Operation not permitted

Although the last command wasn’t executed, my Nexus 5X booted with Plasma Mobile after I forced a reboot manually in TWCP.

Some questions: It is true, that neither the camera nor the phone works? The phone didn’t ask me for the PIN of my SIM card. So it seems that Plasma Mobile doesn’t support the basic phone features yet. Another reason could be, that the script didn’t finish successfully.

I did not have the readlink problem (am on linux) but I am stuck in a very similar state like joergw - I suppose you cannot connect via adb and cannot start the system into the foreground with lxc either as we are supposed to just like me.
