I've installed KDE Neon in UEFI mode. My partition table (GPT) is very simpe:
  • efI (/sda1): 1GiB
  • root (/sda2): 100GiB
  • swap (/sda3): 4GiB
  • home (/sda4): 100GiB
I also choose sda1 to install grub loader and the second time I let the default value (sda). No positive result.

After reboot, the BIOS tell me that I need to install a operating system because there is no boot loader. It looks like Neon couldn't install the grub.
There is no boot loader. Install a operating system into hard disk.

According with this response I did the following:

  • Mount the efi partition on newly efi folder.
  • Copy the content of EFI/neon/* into EFI/ubuntu.
The procedure wasn't successfully because the efi folder (where I have mounted the efi partition) is empty.

Which are my options?

Well, finally I solved this. I just made a new fresh install:

  • Create a new partition table (GPT)
  • Create the partitions
  • Add the boot and esp flag to efi partition (FAT32)
  • Don't put the loader on efi partition.
