Missing exa on KDE Neon 5.8.8

Sun Oct 29, 2017 7:30 pm
Hello,
I have just changed from being a long-time Mint user to KDE Neon. The reason is that Mint publicly announced that they will stop their KDE-based distro after Mint 18.3. Since I want to continue to use KDE, I looked for a replacement. KDE Neon seemed to be the most sensible one. By the way, the install went VERY smoothly, except that I had to install quite a number of packages in my situation (eg. Gimp, LibreOffice 5.4.3, Vivaldi, Thunderbird,...).
On Mint 18.2 I had installed exa just lately - a "replacement" for the popular "ls"-command. Is there a way to get that program installed short of a rather cryptic build from source code from git? The best solution to me would of course be to include exa in the KDE Neon distro.
Thanks for your help

KDE neon comes with a basic package, and you customize it the way you want. The easiest approach is to install Synaptic Package Manager first. Then you can install all the programs you wish simultaneously.

Thanks for your help. I had Synaptic installed already and then installed exa...
