overriding kdm default session

Hello,

I wanted to know if there is a way under certian conditions to override the defualt login session when login in with kdm?

To the best of my knowledge, the only way you could do this would be by supplying KDM with a different configuration file when it is started.

I see, maybe I need another approach, kdmrc has [X-:*-Greeter] entries, can I use [X-:1-Greeter] in addition to define different greeter behavior per x session?

It seems plausible that would work - would be worth trying in any case.
