Date formats for CSV import

Tue Dec 31, 2019 2:34 pm
Hi!
I tried to import the CSV file from my bank but run into the following problem - dates in the file are represented in DD.MM.YYY format, but CSV import seems not supporting such (there are 3 variations of D[space]M[space]Y only).

How would it be possible to import csv with dates in DD.MM.YYYY format?

d m y is what you want. Works perfectly for me with dates of the same format (DD.MM.YYYY) for years (which I get from my bank). What exactly is the problem? Any message? Which version of KMyMoney? I have 5.0.7 (plus the latest changes from git)

hmm.. indeed... I failed in my previous attempt for, as now seems, no obvious reason.
One problem still exists - my bank does not identify incoming and outgoing payments with signed numbers, but rather uses C(redit) and D(ebit) types in additional field.
I could "filter " it through python, but it is an additional step outside of KMymoney.

KMyMoney supports that. On the wizard page where you select the columns change from Amount to Debit/Credit and select the two columns.
