Kmymoney Keyboard Shortcut Retention Across Restarts

KDE4 Rel 4.14, Kmymoney Rel 5.05, openSUSE Leap 15.1
Standard repositories and Packman enabled

There is a conflict in the standard keyboard shortcuts. Ctl-Insert is both Ledger New Transaction and Copy.

I can fix the conflict to remove Copy from Ctl-Insert. I then export the shortcuts to a file ShortcutMod.shortcuts which is in the same directory as my Kmymoney data.

The problem is that the saved shortcut file is not automatically re-applied when I restart Kmymoney. I have to manually reload/reapply the file.

Is it possible to have my shortcut file automatically re-applied when I restart Kmymoney?

Found the solution.

Standard Keyboard Shortcuts for Applications

o Press the META key (Application Launcher)

o Type shortcuts in the search field at the top of the list

o A menu of shortcut types will appear.

o Select the shortcut with the subtitle as shown above.

o Make the changes you need in the shortcut list.

o When you apply your changes, you will receive a caution about potential conflicts. Your changes will be applied.

I have the same problem with Ctrl+Ins; but this solution doesn't work with Ubuntu 19.10 / Cinnamon 4.0.10. My shortcuts menu has nothing related to KMyMoney or any shortcut with Ctrl+Ins assigned.

The symptoms are the same as described by fwright on the very first post. Thanks!!
