Recently used files plasmoid

Tue Jan 26, 2010 12:03 pm
KDE already has a tab for recently used files in K-Menu.
In my opinion it would be much more comfortable if there was a "Recently used documents" plasmoid, that makes this docs accessible right on my desktop.

already works fine with lancelot. just drag the recently used files section to your dektop. click on the text "Recent Documents" and drag. don't forget to unlock your widgets before

or you could use the folder view widget and use it to display /home/philipp/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments

already possible two ways.

we could improve the folder view widget by adding "Recent Documents" to the drop down menu "Show a Place". that way it will get very easy to show recent documents. specifying the path manually is probably to difficult.

Looking for KDE 5 solution. Lancelot is still not ported, while folder view only supports icon view (no list/table view).
