It is possible for KWin to apply all kind of settings for specific windows, using the context menu on the titlebar of that window. The only thing I cannot change is the colour of the titlebar.
I'm using the Oxygen colour scheme, but for Digikam i'd like to use the dark theme. The titlebar remains very bright in the dark environment, so that's the case I'm opening this topic for. Has anybody an idea?

These settings are normally controlled under Advanced > Special Application Settings, or Configure Window Behaviour ( from the right click menu of the window ).
However I do not see this option as a Possibility in either. Zarin can probably tell us if this is possible at all. Zarin... where are you?

Maybe we should shout a little bit harder: Zarin, where are you?

What exactly are you doing? So all your applications except Digikam have the normal light gray background but Digikam has a dark background?

Yes, I have default color scheme (Oxygen) for all my windows. In Digikam, you can change the internal color scheme. I'm setting it to 'Dark' and all widgets change to Wonton Soup. Only the title bar remains white as the default Oxygen theme looks. I'd like to change the color of the title bar, but only for the Digikam window. There are some settings which can be customized for specific windows. The only option I cannot find is changing the color of the title bar

Hi all, I'm really sorry for bumping a 3 year old thread, but I've been looking for a way to choose a different colorscheme for distinct apps, and only found this topic.
I don't know where to look in the docs and I'd hate to have to learn Kwin tinkering just for that... (I'm painfully learning xml ) Where are we on this and do you see a trivial hack or a script that would allow themers to achieve this behaviour ? I'd rather not post an inaccurate brainstorm idea. If this is already technically feasible it would just amount to ask for an added option in the GUI. Sorry again for the bump and thanks in advance for any help and directions you can provide. |

After those years I didn't found a solution yet. I don't think it's possible yet, so the brainstorm idea might be a good move.
