Midle mouse click raises running apps list

Could you please return midle mouse click showing running apps?
I miss that kde3 feature. I do not use tasks panel, so it could be nice to find if an app is already running by just midle click on desktop. |

Yes indeed. Just middle click on desktop to see what's running or switch to desired app. |

I'd like to expand this to add the window list should also be an available kwin shortcut/dbus method, and middle click could have configurable actions to make it more versatile for power users.

This is available in 4.5 and I think 4.4 as well.
