I've just recognized that my status bar is missing in Konqueror. It's missing when I use Konqueror as a web browser as well as a file manager.

Installed:
openSuse 11.1
Qt: 4.5.0-rc1
KDE: 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 102"
Konqueror: 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 102"

I cant seem to find a setting for the status bar in Konqui settings or in it's rc files.
Can you still not see the statusbar if you do Window -> Split view top/bottom ?

Sry, for not answering ... normally I get a Jabber message, but this time it's seems the message got lost on the way to me.

I fix the problem:
Switched to profile "file manager". There I had a statusbar. Then I configured Konqueror back as a web browser by hand (just a view clicks) and saved the profile as "web browsing". Now the statusbar is visible again. (I hope it stays so :-) )
