Plasma has a wide variety of themes, and the ability to pick and choose different themes for different sorts of widget and containments (such as a different theme for the panel than for the clock). However, I would very much like to be able to override the theme for a single instance of a certain widget or containment in the widget configuration dialog or right-click menu.

For instance I might want to use one theme for analog clicks in general, but for one specific clock I want to use a different theme. Or say I want most of my widgets to have a theme that makes them stand out, but I want my folderview widget to blend in using a theme like naked. Or I want to set up a normal panel that is 3D and stands out like with the default theme but I want a much larger panel that windows can cover to be flatter and more subtle using a theme like plateau.
