This idea was in my thread : KDE 4.3 Mockup
but i'm going to post again here, so you can vote or not. Basically, I want the posibility to rotate or resize plasmoids on the panel. Here there is a picture, Click to look bigger. Another own ideas: *KDE 4.3 Mockup (no brainstorm) *Set up the time before panel hide. *Rotate and Resize panels plasmoids

This is in no way meant provocative: Why would one want to do this? I can't even see much sense in rotating plasmoids on the desktop, but in the panel?!

It's useful, for example, you would change the Taskbar/Stask size (like osx dock), add a big icon ( the vista icon it's bigger than the panel) and do other things with plasmoids.

But the icon size already does change with the panel size ... ? Well, I don't see much sense in that, but OK, if you like it ...

this is a great idea.
i think its annoying that you have giant powermanagement plasmoid, or a giant device plasmoid. if you could resize them you could save some space for other useful plasmoids |

Maybe there should be a way to deactivate the layout...
