Show categories shortcut next to applications - mockup

Show category shortcut next to category in favorites and recent tabs.

This could be a really space saving feature. Imagine you have use 80% of your browsing A browser, but you also use browser B and C quite often. There are too little space to put all apps you use, so direct link to corresponding category would be very useful. When you need just click on Web browser category next to browser A


Future (3 clicks)

Kicker -> Category icon -> Browser B

Past (5 clicks)
Kicker -> Applications -> Internet -> Web Browser -> Browser B
Having in ming you find right category from the first time :)

Tag corrected. Kicker is part of KDE 3, Plasma is its replacement in KDE 4.

You can do it yourself by clicking on Image. That's one of the cool things with tags. ;)
