Hi all,

This is my first post here, so let me know if I need to edit it in any way. I've been having this problem where my desktop wallpaper settings will revert back to solid black after I reboot my system. I can't seem to find the source of the issue. I checked the config XML files as suggested by this post in these, but it did not resolve the issue. Could anyone point me in the right direction?
Also, I've noticed that when my session is resumed after restart, several programs will reopen after I attempted to completely shut down all instances and even check the system processes. Maybe these issues are related?

Edit:
My system info is as follows: Operating System: Kubuntu 19.10; KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.3; KDE Frameworks Version: 5.67.0; Qt Version: 5.12.4; Kernel Version: 5.3.0-46-generic
I do have my sessions saved after logout, but the programs which boot on startup are ones which I have attempted to close out completely. Hope this information helps diagnose the problem!

Do you have the session saved on logout?
Also, a few more information about your exact Plasma version and distribution, theme, etc would be helpful.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
