Is there a way to make the flash plugin use phonon for its audio output? My usage case here is that I love Pandora, but can't get it to play through my USB speakers, like I can Amarok. As it stands, it just plays audio through the normal laptop speakers, which works just fine but isn't optimal.
Any clues on how to do this? |

It is highly unlikely for this to be implemented by Adobe, primarily because it is not cross desktop compatible. It is more likely they will implement a Pulseaudio based system.

Ok, so on the thread you linked to, it links to this help page, which says:
All well and good, except that trying to run asoundconf gives me an error that the command is not found. I have all the relevant packages installed (alsa-lib, alsa-oss, alsa-plugins, alsa-utils), and other commands, like aplay, work. Apparently, Ubuntu has removed this functionality in favor of other systems. Has Arch recieved the chopping block as well? Eithr way, I'm not quite sure how to get asoundconf running. All the help is very much appreciated. |

Are you using arch?
This link may point you in the right direction. The last two posts in that thread seem to have a solution.
