I have a somewhat strange problem.

Occasionally, my keyboard repeat will stop working. The relevant config option in ~/.kde4/share/config/kcminputrc is there:

RepeatRate=25


If I run kcminit, the problem goes away, only to return some minutes later. This is not helped by the fact that the keyboard settings are missing from my Keyboard & Mouse window in systemsettings, as I reported in keyboard-configura ... 22250.html

Any thoughts? I am running a Vanilla KDE 4.1.3 under Arch.
