I think that should be integrated in Dolphin this option...Users should not use shell or specific application (http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.ph ... tent=11577) for images mounting.I've read somewhere that Nautilus has already something like that!

Administrative permissions are usually required to perform mounting / unmounting operations, which could be made easier though the use of Policykit.

In any case you could right click on the image, than click on "mount" and than policykit could ask you superuser privileges..right?

Correct, or the action could be performed immediately ( without Authentication ) if Policykit had been configured to allow it.

I've just discovered that my idea is a duplicate of this one easy-way-to-mount- ... 39162.html that is,in turn, a duplicate of this one http://forum.kde.org/iso-slave-t-39029.html
The application of the ideas are quite similar (right click for me,double ckick for the other one),for me this threads can be merged.I hope that votes will be merged too!

Acetoneiso seems to have no problem mounting as a non-root user. It simply mounts it in a folder in the user's own directory instead of a folder owned by root.

There are servicemenus available that use Fuse, so basically, this has already been implemented
