The idea constits in focus on more than one window when presents windows. For example, select more than one window with rigth click and continue working with those scaled windows.
I think that can be usuful when you are working on more than one document. |

Yes Present Windows is really the best Desktop Effect hands down. Adding an interactive mode sort of thing would make it so much more powerful.
Imagine quickly typing an IM/IRC, changing an Amarok track, checking at a web page, whatever, all from within Present Windows and while busily working from a different virtual desktop [in Present All Windows] and/or simply not worrying about disturbing windowing Z order . Whereas currently, the former process is: change desktop or present windows and activate => do whatever action, change back to original desktop. Enter/exit "Interactive Mode" could be hotkeyable inside Present window mode to input focus over the highlighted window or something. I've been considering feature requesting this eventually myself once I have a clearer idea of the implementation and use cases. IMO Present Windows, generally, has even much more potential to offer...just needs some brainstorming love. |
