Why don't add in oxygen the possibility to have the windows with the ARGB trasparency? In Bespin this are yet implemented:

It's possible with Aurorae themes. But Aurorae themes are always slower than hard coded themes. So I think it should also be added to rthe oxygen theme.

Example for aurorae theme:

I'm using Bespin and I don't have this enabled. it does look at beginning but it starts to bug me later on it just doesn't look right.
That's just my opinion, but why not...

i'd like this. I don't want to use bespin and aurora themes, because window tabbing is not possible with this themes

Well you could use Bespin as your style and Oxygen or Tabstrip for window decoration, but last time I had this my KDE was really really slow...

transparency without blur is useless in this case.

I think Plasma is a good way when working with files, and i would wish that it could be more developed to integrate with the rest, like Dolphin allready is. Then you could have a choice between Dolphin or Plasma when you install, as its own desktop environment.

While I don't agree entirely - I'm fine with the blur-less transparency currently offered in bespin; I must admit that blur does enhance the transparency effect and make it more usable (try putting two transparent konsoles on top of each other). I certainly think that any transparency effects added should include blurring (though the blurring will need to be handled in kwin/compositing engine).

I personnaly agree about the transparency without blur. Transparency without blur is more annoying than anything else I think.

Still, as the Blur Effect is, in fact, going back to KDE for the 4.5 Software Compilation, this could be a great feature to add.

I think we do need a ARGB support for KDE SC default Oxygen style. Allow user to select the transparency level.

But only when we do have the blur effect back on the KWin and allowing user to have possibility choose the blur level.
