Hi,
simple idea: add the possibility to add colors (labels) to directories. The main idea is to have something like in MacOS (yes, I saw it there :/) I think it would be very helpful even with minimal options, but maybe it could be even more powerfull, for example, if it worked with nepomuk tags? Oh and yea, I hope its not a duplicate. |

You can change a folder icon - right click->properties click on the current folder icon.
There are colored folders in the icon list. (this works by creating a hidden file called .directory inside that folder) |

I am glad that someone picked this up again. I suggested it a while back but the idea never caught much interest. Hopefully it gets more plusses.... I reported as duplicate.

Yes, I know you can do that and I am using it now. If this could however be added and make it work with nepomuk, then, for example, you could have all your 'working' (with 'work' tag) directories be, lets say, green. It could coexist with colored icons, and if not (maybe too many colors for one directory?) one solution could be chosen. Maybe let user decide? |
