Hello,
I recently updated my Krita to the 4.2.7.1 version on my Mac, and the performance's been really laggy. There's a much longer delay time between my brush strokes and the time they show up on canvas. I can't seem to draw circles as well, everything comes out kind of jagged and stiff. Any solutions to this? |

Which version of MacOS, and are you sure you have gone over this checklist?

The list says to folllow "Settings ‣ Configure Krita ‣ Display." but I can't find it in my version. It's Mac: Darwin (x86_64) release 18.7.0 |

Every mac user ought to know that on macOS, the settings for an application are, of course, not in the settings menu, but in the application menu. Apple likes to do things differently to keep their users in their walled garden. Press command-comma to open the settings dialog.

Hi, I'm a new mac user so I'm still learning my way through that, but I've tried what was suggested and if I draw reallllllllyyyyyyyy slow there could be less jaggedness. I've gone through the list linked too, but it seems more applicable to PC users because I can only find very few things mentioned on the list... |

I should also add when I test out the brushes in the brushes' scratchpads the lines come out rounded and there's no delay time. |

Hi, a small update, I've gone through the checklist and various discussion boards but I still experience the same thing. It's not a tablet thing since I've tried it on different programs, and there's no error on the scratchpad. I really like the program and really don't want to delete it, but is there any others solution you could think of? |
