Currently when you click the process monitor button on krunner, the second button from the left, you get a "system activity" window that show a list of the current running processes and various information about them. This is essentially identical to the "process table" tab from ksysguard, the KDE 4 system monitor. I would personally prefer if that button just launched ksysguard in its entirety. It is more powerful, and I don't really see any reason not to since ksysguard opens by default in the process list tab anyway. Other people may disagree, but I think it should at least be an option.

The difference is that when you launch KRunner's process list, it launches instantly because it is part of KRunner and is already loaded into memory. KSysgard is a separate application, so if your system is getting laggy and you want to see why, you want your process list to load fast.

Besides, it's easier to use (I think? Haven't tried it myself). If you're a poweruser, you probably use ctrl-escape anyway.

I support this idea. I really want to see the cpu/memory usage graphs, while using Ctrl+Esc and the process list alone is not enough.

One possible solution is to launch 'System Monitor (ksysguard)' when using Ctrl+Esc. To make it launch faster, it can be loaded in memory as part of krunner.

Thank you. I was always wondering about a process-list after pressing some key. :D
