A handy window management feature would be to have the ability to resize more than one adjacent window on the desktop when the edges are "snapped" together. The idea is to create an experience of paned windows, similar to what you get when using split windows in Kate or Konq. This might work something like this: Pull a window edge to the edge of some other app's window so it "snaps" to it. Now, if a certain key is pressed (ctrl ?) while re-sizing either window, the cursor changes (feedback) and the common edges of both windows move in unison. If this is initiated on a corner, then the connection extends to both horizontal and vertical edges.
