one thing that eally dont like are the tooltips in kde, that blue background look really ugly, but now im using 4.3beta and the Systemsettings have really beautyfull tooltips(if you have enable show detailed tooltips). So what about using that kind of tooltips in kde?, just compare that tooltip(systemsettings) with tooltips in kate and compare.

Very nice tooltips in systemsettings.
same style tooltips could be used in doplhin when hovering files to show size, date, exif or id3 data |

System Settings uses a copy of the Dolphin tooltip infrastructure, with some minor changes that affect colour management.

IMHO this kind of stuff should be implemented globally like the tooltips and the selection tooltip when you hover over a file in dolphin.

I hadn't even noticed it in SystemSettings, but that would be wonderful to have in Dolphin!

Peter Penz ( Dolphin maintainer ) and myself ( System Settings ) are hoping to get this integrated into KDELibs for 4.4, so it will be more likely other applications will use it then.

I\'ll mark this "in progress".
