I think the current way the task manager works with groups is inefficient. When you hover over a group you get previews of each window, but you can't click on the preview to switch to it. If you click the group, it pulls up a list of groups without previews, and you have to hover over each item in the group individually to get a preview of it. And there is no way to raise en entire group to the front.

My idea is that when you hover over a group it pulls up a thumbnail preview of each window in the group. You can then click the window to select the one you want. I know this is possible, stasks works this way. Clicking on the group brings that entire group to the front, maintaining the existing order within the group. So say your order of windows is like this:

1 <-part of group
2
3 <-part of group
4 <-part of group
5
6
7 <-part of group

Clicking on the group's icon would make the order like this:

1 <-part of group
3 <-part of group
4 <-part of group
7 <-part of group
2
5
6

I would keep the middle-click behavior the same (group/ungroup).
